APS Custom, the company

I started this company because I was always disappointed with the quality of electric guitars on the market. I wanted to build a guitar that retains a traditional look while offering something new and exciting to the player. On APS Custom guitars, you won't EVER find creaky, sloppy neck joints, or poorly made bodies that require filler to hide the blemishes. In fact, APS Custom only uses thin translucent finishes that allow you to see the wood grain, no matter what model or color you choose. APS Custom only uses the best products in the production of its guitars. From TonePros bridges to Grover machine heads to Ebony fingerboards, we do it the right way from start to finish. All our tone woods are hand picked to make sure you receive the best product. We feel because wood is a natural product, it should not be selected on the basis of physical beauty alone. For example, we use wood that is structurally sound but may have variations in color. (Knots are an exception and would never be included in our guitars). We look at these unique pieces of wood as "standard equipment" and this allows us to separate our guitars from the masses. If you want a solid, handcrafted, Canadian made guitar that will allow you to explore your abilities, then maybe an APS Custom has been made for you.
